Andrew Searle Dalton

Andrew Dalton is a councillor for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and a member of the Cabinet Oversight and Scrutiny and Audit Committees. He has been a member of the Planning Committee and of the former Education and Libraries Committee.

He was the first Chairman of the Kensington and Chelsea Conservative Association and later Chairman of the London Western Area for the Conservative Party. He is a trustee and chairman of the Kensington Parochial Charities and a trustee of the City and Guilds of London Art School.

He is Managing Partner of Dalton Strategic Partnership LLP, a global investment management firm in the City, which employs 62 people in London, Hong Kong, New York and Mumbai.

He is also a member of the Court of Assistants of the Grocers Company and is currently Fourth Warden. He is trustee and treasurer of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, and Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and Chairman of the Oundle School Foundation. He is a member of the Sulgrave Manor Advisory Council and is senior member of the investment committee of Magdalen College, Oxford.

He farms 3,500 acres in south-west Scotland. He is married to Jennie and has four children, Abigail, Frederick, Benjamin and Eliza. He was educated at Oundle and Magdalen College Oxford, where he read Modern History.
